Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Could Have Been Better.
The illustrations are pretty cool; full of color and movement. Some of the situations that arise when the two universes crossover are also interesting, e.g. Ben Reilly (Spider Clone) hitting on Louis Lane and the King Pin taking over the Daily Planet. Some of the battles were also interesting. And the creation of the Amalgam universe makes for an unique twist. That's the good stuff.

Now for the bad. All of the fights are too short. Most get a full page, while the major battles run about three pages. Some of the fights are so short the outcome doesn't make sense (Silver Surfer and Green Lantern would have lasted much longer) and at least one (Batman vs Captain America) was not a fair outcome (Batman lost because he hit his head in the sewer saving Captain America).

Besides that, the story is rather convoluted, not making much sense (not that comic books ever made much sense). The heroes act like a bunch of idiots; they fight each other like a bunch of mindless pawns, rather than joining forces and putting together a plan like the rational beings they are supposed to be.

It seems that the project had too many writers to stay focused and as a result, what could have been an amazing, marvelous, spectacular comic was just average.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - good art
GOOD ART. OK PLOT but there is no reason why they fight in the begining. The fights are not long enough to satisfy you. Dumb ending. There are some cool things that happen. Wonder Women gaining the power of Thor. If you want action and good art then get it. If your looking for a really good story, forget it.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - An ok read. I don't agree with some out comes.
First off. The art is great. True eye candy. But the story line was confussing and dull. The fights were way way to short for there own good and the book tried way to hard to constantly bring back a dieing or dead plot. I think they should of cut out the whole DC and Marvel cross over part to make room for what people picked this up for in the first place. THE FIGHTS! I don't really want to see the new hero try to bring balence to the two worlds. I wana see LoBo and Wolvy fight to blood and gutts glory!!! and I want it to last longer than. I hit you. You hit me. I fall. you win. Pick it up and take a read. Put don't get your hopes up. Your not gonna see The Hulk and Superman leavling mountains or bat-man and Cap. Fighting all out over the streets of gothem. It could of been alot better.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - INTERESTING YET CONFUSING
This selection is interesting yet confusing. The story line, itself, really doesn't make much sence, but it does make for some interesting match ups.

It was cool to see some of your favorites face off against each other, though the results were questionable.

Superman vs Hulk - Silver Surfer vs Green Lantern - Capt. Marvel vs Thor - Just to name a few.

The story line may be bad but this is still cool.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - a strange unfull mix
a mixture of taste , where on one in one hand you have the DC comics superheros with strength is their best espect , on the othe hand you got marvel heros , who skill mathched with unhuman powers & presestance against pain , both fighting agaist each other on along waited battles .

to keep it short the fighting was fantastic , although alloways ending too soon , also the story mix was realy uninteresting so was the end .

so if you are an action fan you'll love it , if your a story fan youll hate it , if you like both like me then you know why I gave it only 3 stars .
