Chloe angry at Clark for ignoring her in favor of Lana, gets involved with Justin Gaines the telekinetic accident victim bent on revenge. Clark finds himself jealous and suspicious of Justin, and he confides in Lana concerning his feelings toward Chloe. On the Lex  front, Lex Luthor is visited by his childhood nanny who turns out to have cancer.

Justin confides in Chloe that he has gained the ability to move things with just the power of his mind. About the same time Justin finds out that the car that hit him belonged to Principal Kwan. Unfortunately, for Principal Kwan Justin doesn't realize that Kwan's kid was the one that hit him with the car. Justin uses his ability to murder Principal Kwan.

Clark finds out from Kwan's son that he was the one that ran into Justin, and Chloe finds Justin's art work depicting his crimes against his doctor and Principal Kwan. After an urgent call to Clark from Chloe, Justin attacks Chloe in the Kent barn.

Clark super speeds it to the barn in time to save Chloe, after first being attacked by a airborne chainsaw, and getting thrown in the air like a rag doll. In the end Justin is no match for the super powered teen who throws Justin across the barn.

Clark makes a date with Chloe in front of Lana who looks extremely distressed by it. Whitney walks in and Lana looks like she is about to break it off with him, when he gives her the tragic news that his father has died.

The episode ends sadly at the funeral of Whitney's dad while " Time after Time" by Eva Cassidy plays in the background.
