Craving Smallville Episode Guide

Jody, a young teenaged girl named  from Clark's school, obsesses over her weight and decides to only eat vegetables from her garden. Unfortunately, the garden has kryptonite in the soil. Taunted by boys at school, Chloe and Pete seem to be her only friends.

After making a diet shake from her garden plants, Jody starts to loose weight almost immediately. She drops pounds in seconds.

Meanwhile Lana is going to have a birthday party, and Clark struggles with what to give her.

Jody starts to crave food to make up for her greatly increased metabolism. She eats everything in the house and then drives out in the rain. Jody runs over a deer and unbelievably devours the deer right on the road.

Clark and Chloe investigate the remains of the deer, and Lex visits the Smallville Torch online, a real website as of the time of this writing.

Jody keeps dropping weight, but as she does her appetite increases. She attacks a boy who had ridiculed her earlier in the show, and literally sucks the fat from the teenager's body. Clark Kent bursts onto the scene in time to keep her from killing the boy. But Jody disappears before Clark sees her.

Jody's first victim

The night of Lana Lang's birthday approaches, and Pete Ross tries to escort Jody to the party, but not before almost becoming victim number two. Lucky for him, Clark jumps in to save the day. Clarks follows Jody into her greenhouse filled with the meteor rocks and is attacked by her. Jody causes a explosion in the greenhouse, but Clark is able to save her at the last moment.

Lex Luthor hires Dr. Steven Hamilton, played by Joe Morton, who makes his debut on this episode. Joe is famous for playing the scientist who created the Terminator in T2.

Clark misses Lana's birthday party, but makes it up to her that night by setting up a movie projector to display a movie onto a barn. Clark and Lana share the evening eating popcorn and watching Bugs Bunny.

Music from Craving

Slide by Dido -- This is heard when Jodi first weighs herself, looks into the mirror, and begins to shrink, at the beginning of the episode. Dido sings Roswell's theme song.
Innocent by Fuel -- plays when Clark looks through the telescope and sees Whitney and Lana on Lana's steps
Invisible by Third Eye Blind
The Fool by Call and Response
Hero by Enrique Iglesias -- plays at the end when Clark and Lana are watching Bugs Bunny
